Privacy Policy

Short version: your diagrams stay on your device and in your own files, Naqsha has no analytics or tracking, and the only thing it sends to a server is your Pro licence key, to check it.
Who we are and what this covers
Naqsha is made by Nixpx LLC (“we”). This policy covers every edition of Naqsha: the desktop apps for macOS, Windows and Linux; the browser version at nixpx.com/naqsha/app; the Naqsha add-in for Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and the Naqsha plugin for ONLYOFFICE. It also covers Naqsha Pro, the paid features in all of them.
Your diagrams
We never receive, store or see your diagrams.
- The desktop apps save diagrams as files on your computer.
- The browser version runs on your device: the editor is downloaded from nixpx.com, but your diagrams are not uploaded. Save downloads a file, and unsaved work is kept in your browser’s storage on your device.
- The Microsoft Office add-in and the ONLYOFFICE plugin show the same editor inside your office app. When you insert a diagram, it is stored in the document, workbook or presentation itself: a picture of the diagram, and the diagram data in the file (for Microsoft Office, in the add-in’s settings inside the file; for ONLYOFFICE, in the embedded object). The diagram goes from the editor to the office app on your device, not to us. Anyone you share the file with can see the diagram, as with any other content in it.
What Naqsha sends over the network
- Loading the editor. The browser version, the Office add-in and the ONLYOFFICE plugin load Naqsha from nixpx.com. Microsoft Office also loads Microsoft’s add-in library (office.js), and ONLYOFFICE its plugin library, under those companies’ own policies.
- Naqsha Pro licence checks. If you use Naqsha Pro, Naqsha sends your licence key and a device name to Lemon Squeezy’s licence service when you activate the key and every few days after that, to confirm the licence is valid. In the desktop apps the device name is your computer’s name (or, if the app can’t read it, your user name on that computer), the operating system and the Naqsha version; in a browser or office app it is the browser’s name, “web” and the Naqsha version. The device name lets you see and remove your activations. From a browser or an office app this request passes through nixpx.com, which forwards only the key, the device name and the activation id, and does not store or log them.
- The free edition sends nothing else. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking in any edition.
What is stored on your device
Naqsha keeps your settings, your Pro licence or trial status and, in the browser, unsaved work and any product catalogue you import, on your device (in the app’s settings folder, or in your browser’s storage for the browser version and the add-ins). The Office add-in also uses your browser storage for a moment to hand a diagram to the editor window, and deletes it straight away.
When you buy
Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. They collect your name, email address, billing country and payment details to process the order and taxes, under their privacy policy. We receive your name, email address, what you bought and the licence key, and use them only to provide the licence, answer support requests and send essential messages about your purchase. We do not sell or share them.
This website
nixpx.com may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the purchase data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it (we may keep records the law requires, such as invoices). Removing a licence in the app removes that device’s activation. To remove a diagram from a file, delete it in the file. Contact support@nixpx.com.
